Small blessings

Thanks for all the sympathy yesterday. It's developing into a standard head cold, but thank goodness my throat no longer feels like I swallowed nails. I'm still feel pretty puny, and my cough is disgusting, so stayed home from work.

Am attempting to do laundry right now, but most of my time is still spent on the couch, reading fic. Yay?

Oh, and I didn't break my serger, thank goodness. Just a screw came loose, which let a needle drop. I think it'll be fine. Crossing fingers.
