Finally got my Guanfacine prescription yesterday. Took it last night before bed and slept nearly consecutive seven hours! Of course that meant I woke with enough brain function to remember that a year ago my personal life was happier than it had been in years only to discover two months later it had been based on a lie and I spent an hour fantasizing in the dark about waking up in a different life, so.... kind of a mixed bag.

However! yesterday I finished the sex scene that wraps up the worst of Deconstruction's emotional angst arc and I'm so, so proud of it. While it's not as 🔥 as some of the sex I've written, it carries a significant narrative burden and says a lot about where our guys are at that point in the story and where they're going. I'm just... I'm Really Pleased with this scene, y'all.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's such a shitty position to find yourself in. It's awful and it sucks that you're having to grapple with that in addition to, you know, *waves at everything else*

And thank you! But no worries, I don't beat myself up over stuff. Wallowing in guilt just eats up energy that can be spent learning more and doing better, you know? I do my mea culpas and then incorporate the lessons. It's so much more efficient! 😄
