Guardian/adjacent:
More Zhu Yilong from that ELLE photoshoot.
Bai Yu's laugh and knee bounce.
ARMS. ARMSSSS.
Gun kink gun kink (possible spoiler for DMBJ)
Fanart: Prof. Shen in Hei Pao Shi's robes. Three-artist switcharound.
Sensitivity betas on
brush_and_lantern .
Taylor Swift's new album Folklore is amazeballs and I'm purchasing it as soon as I have a few more albums to order at the same time (no point in having my local record store place an order for just one thing, right?). So please hmu with album suggestions, keeping in mind I am incredibly picky about what I like and sometimes that pickiness does not actually mean "good." *cough*
I like pop and almost all variants of it like emo pop (Marianas Trench), punk/power pop (All Time Low), hard/metal with emo edge (Starset), or even metal that's on the melodic side (Rob Zombie, still the best) and I would ADORE recs for lady bands that fall into any of those categories (I already own every Sleigh Bells album). I even like a lot of pop country. Pop music is where I live, sorry not sorry 😁
Inter-genre folks like Dessa and Twin Shadow are wonderful, too, but more experimental stuff isn't my jam. I need that verse-chorus-verse-chorus (bridge) format for pretty much anything, which is incredibly limiting, I know. *emoji shrug*
And now I'm off to scroll through Wikipedia's list of albums released this year...
ETA: I just discovered that Folklore isn't available for purchase on CD, and neither is the first album I previewed that I liked well enough to purchase.
WELP.

Fnfnnf it's a lot.
Albums: hmmm. I mostly listen to random songs, but going off your parameters maybe one of the following 2020 releases (all on Spotify so you can check them out!) might appeal:
Delta Rae - The Light
The National Parks - Wildflower
Dead Posey - Malfunction (EP)
Alan Doyle - Rough Side Out
Barns Courtney - Hard to be Alone
