I don't intend to write Untamed fic, but if I did...

I paid attention to myself in the mirror this morning (something I've been doing less of these days) and noticed that my earlobes are losing the plumpness of youth so my posts were sagging. sigh So I got out my tiny hoops to put in instead (I don't change out my jewelry these days so I want ones I can sleep in). In the same box were some of my old rings so I pulled out three of those, too--my thumb rings and Grandma's wedding band. I used to wear a ring on nearly every finger (my hands are one of my best features, imo) but I stopped when I was weightlifting because it was a pain to take them off and on every day (especially the thumb rings--literal pain). Then I just... never put them back on. It's been five years. I'm wearing them now and I'm reminded of how much I like them. That's nice.

ETA: I was digging in my Twitter history to find an old post and ran across a link to this Tumblr post and while that me wasn't peak me god damn what I'd give to get it back.

I have really fat earlobes, I think it got worse/more noticeable when they were stretched (00 gauge).

Yay for adornment! I don't really wear rings anymore, in the summer my fingers swell and I get eczema from them trapping sweat, in the winter I forget about them. Plus I have a wicked nickel allergy, so any that are not 100% silver, gold, or steel cause issues. All my dance jewelry gets a layer of clear nail polish or clear acrylic spray, or cotton fabric glued to the back (big pendants, cuffs). I'm not fond of how my hands looks (short fat fingers) but I am happy they are fairly strong and capable.

I wear very little jewelry for how much I like it, and I date someone who wears absolutely no jewelry even though I love it on other people.

Oooookay! That is in fact the first time I've seen Z1L smoke (while not in character). I don't share that kink, as you know, but that is very important information anyway. Earth-shaking, really. Not that I didn't know he smokes, it was alwys pretty clear, but they are very very careful never to release pictures of him actually doing it.

(And I had seen that video a few days ago and not noticed! Ouch!)
