I keep forgetting to mention that Safety Not Guaranteed is on U.S. Netflix right now. I've loved all three Mark Duplass movies I've seen. Creep is a terrific two-person psychological horror piece and I can't even pick a genre for The One I Love except AMAZEBALLS. Safety Not Guaranteed is my favorite, though. It contains more than a few tropes that usually aren't my bag, but I love it enough to own it on Blu-ray.

Yesterday I got a comment on Deconstruction that made me feel so much better about how I was portraying Shen Wei's emotional arc. Validation by a stranger was, apparently, necessary (and much appreciated).

I'm not even thinking about other news right now.
