Fanart: New artist in the Guardian fandom! This mermaid animation ๐ Doing Shen Wei's hair. Kisses through the ages.
THIS JACKET in the Thermos ad holy shit. In action. Also this gif.
My toaster died this morning so I ventured out to Menards (my fave, for which I had a remaining housewarming gift card yay!). A little over half the people were still masked. That felt good.
When I got home, my neighbor (the one who cleared my driveway this winter) was backing a gorgeous vintage El Camino into his garage. Turns out he just got it yesterday. It's a 1966 and is in gorgeous condition. Nice soft rumble, good restoration with a few rust bubbles under the black paint but nothing bad, decent interior and pristine vinyl top. I'm happy for him--apparently he had to sell a 50-something Chevy several years ago because of tax problems (lol the things people tell you when you're talking cars). Had to fight back tears walking back across the street, though. Probably best I already decided not to hit any car shows this summer. The Chevelle loss is still a little too fresh.

And I'm really glad people are still masking even if they could get away without. I hope people here will, too.

I miss Menards. They don't have them in Maine, but I used to go all the time when I lived in Minnesota, which is...wow, ages ago now. I still remember the ads: "You'll save big money at Menards!"
You are slowly working through all your electronic devices. Check Wirecutter before purchasing; their recs never disappoint.

Alas, I bought the absolute cheapest toaster they had. Perhaps I'll put a nicer one on my shopping list when I have disposable income--as a treat!

That jacket makes me think "valet", very unfortunate. :/
