Someone has the Bai Yu Fairy Prince suit for their doll! I watched this gif of the nosebleed scene loop like thirty times. RAIN. Scrolling through my tweets this morning to find an old photo of a US ice cream truck 😆, I ran across this post with one of my fave candid shots of Bai Yu. He looks so good here. (the mini-story I wrote for it is pretty representative of my disastrous romantic history)
Yesterday's interview went well. I think? It's hard for me to tell how well I did, but I know I want this job. I want this job bad y'all. It's perfect for me, and the department seems really cool. At least three (possibly four) of the seven (seven!) people on the interview panel were non-faculty staff which is, like, a big thing in academia. I was super impressed. Totally different vibe than the Law School. I won't hear anything until next week, probably closer to Friday. Ugh. I feel like I'm jinxing myself wanting it this much. I would be really really good in this job.
I wrapped up Chapter 6 of Redemption! Words are happening! I'm not back up to my 1k words/day (dunno if that'll ever happen again, tbh) but a little writing is better than no writing. And tonight I'm hanging out with some friends who have said they might want to start watching Guardian (they've watched The Untamed like five times, also Word of Honor and Legend of Fei). If I can get them to jump (finally), I'll be rewatching the series not necessarily with them, but on their schedule, which is good because I'm getting to parts of my fic where I could use a refresher.
So maybe be prepared for me to have some rewatch feels around here.
