A good day
1. What is the one book that you reread over and over again? Probably one of Mary Stewart's fluffy romance novels since I can get through one in an afternoon.
2. What is your favourite genre? I don't have a favorite, really. But I am not a fan of "modern literature" or "chick lit." Barf.
3. Do you usually buy your books or visit the library? I usually borrow from friends.
4. Who is your favourite author? Clive Barker and Tom Robbins are neck and neck. Ooo. There's an image.
5. What book have you read that you absolutely hated? Two of my least favorite books that I actually plowed through are by the above-mentioned. I despised Everville by Barker and was very disappointed in Robbins's Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates. I think what doomed them was I forced myself to finish, waiting for them to get better and they never did. It wasn't a matter of poor writing, just depressing as hell (Everville) or chock full of unsympathetic characters (Fierce Invalids). A lot of books probably should be higher on the bad list, but I don't feel the need to finish a book if I don't like it.
1. Are you childfree, child rearing or child planning? Child free.
2. With your friends and family, do you find yourself in the minority for this stance? I don't have much family, but I'm the only one with no kids. Both my aunts and my uncle all have one or two children. With friends, however, the majority of us have chosen to not have kids.
3. What do you think lead you to this philosophy? It's not a philosophy, just what I chose. I've known since I was very young (eight, I believe) that I didn't like babies or want children.
4. Do you see where you might ever change your mind? Nope, and if I did, it'd be a little late now.
5 Name one advantage and one disadvantage of this choice. Advantage: Freedom! Disadvantage: My folks would have made great grandparents.
1. Describe your telephone: Um. Rectangular?
2. Do you have a cell phone? Yes.
3. Why do you/do you not have a cell phone? My cell phone is my only phone.
4. Who is your favorite person to call? I really don't like to talk on the phone very much, but I call my mom more than anyone.
5. What is the longest time you've spent on the phone? I have no idea. What, people time these things?
