Sci-fi meets bellydance in Portland, OR. Doesn't that sound like a hoot?
I can't believe it's halfway through April. Summer's almost here and I'm not ready for it. I should be in a much better mood right now. We're having one of the longest, most beautiful springs I can remember, but little things are piling up, causing much annoyance. I need to buckle down and do some spring cleaning. I'm feeling a bit out of sorts. Stomach trouble and not sleeping well. Plus, the cats are hell right now.
Fetish kept peeing in my bedroom so I had to lock her in the bathroom when I'm not home (and even a lot of the time when I am since I don't trust to her not pee elsewhere). She spent the past two nights in the bathroom. I feel so bad for her, but I'm trying several of the tricks I've seen: Feed her in the area where she pees, don't give her access to that room, keep her in a room alone with the litterbox so she feels safe. OK, great. Trouble is, I've had a nagging suspicion that she's not the only one peeing in there. And guess what? At the bottom of the stairs this morning, there was a big puddle of cat pee on the tile. My girl's locked up in the bathroom. It wasn't her. sigh. Suxxor. I'm thinking about dropping some big bucks on Feliway. Has anyone here used it or known someone who used it?
Thanks to

Oh, on the plus side, the hives that started breaking out on my arm Tuesday have gone down somewhat. Silver lining, right? *eyeroll*

Hives? So maybe it is just not the cats that are stressed out????

Hives are less than no fun.

I freed the Fetish the morning, blocking passage to upstairs (the second-favorite place to pee). I suspect only one cat is using the special upstairs litterbox, because it's not the right place!
(PS: Was it pee, or was it bile? Tatsuko barfs bile a lot when her esophagus acts up.)

Petzyme is definitely the way to go. I'd hope that the cat pee issue resolves soonish... no good at all.

Amazing how you posted from hours in the future. How do I do that?
