Up and down

This morning I went to the funeral for a woman who died of a blot clot in her lung. She was 45 years old and left three daughters, still living at home. Lynne was one of the happiest people I've ever met, despite numerous life obstacles. She was looking forward to getting lasic surgery this week and I think she anticipated getting her braces off soon. The death was completely unexpected.

This afternoon, my copy of The Adventures of Robin Hood arrived. The bonus materials look relly good and I'm about to pee my pants because if the information on the sleeve is accurate, they include Robin Hood Daffy. YOINKS! And AWAY!

All the empathy in the world for the loss of this person. It's always hard when such things are unexpected.

I need to get my hands on that DVD myself sometime soon.

Oh wow, what a shocking and upsetting loss!

oh, and I got your message, then headed to the shop (sorry bout lunch I was at the gym with Adam) without the phone. Duh. Anyway, if you see this, and are around today, you are welcome to swing by my shop etc. I am planning to attend tomorrow night, so see you then if not before :-)

Well, I decided to go ahead and come in to work today since I didn't think I'd get much done at home after the funeral anyways.

Lunch some other time!

Thank you. I won't pretend that I was her best friend, but she was someone I saw everyday at work. And she was one of the few people I know who never had a bad word for anyone, but could avoid being annoyingly sweet and optimistic. I will miss her.

And I am *very* much looking forward to hermiting down in my basement sometime this weekend to watch some of the 4 hours of bonus features and possibly the movie.
