Good news this morning
As of today, Cafe du Monde is open for business. Thanks to
mckitterick for the heads-up.
And it occurs to me: I really need a coffee icon for me. I'll work on that this week.

1. What kind of things do you costume? Historical, Sci-fi, Ren Faire, SCA, Anime, Movie... Bellydance, Renfest, Halloween, would like to do more fetish stuff, but no opportunities (yet)
2. What was your first costume? Bellydance costume...I have photos somewhere. It was a ghawazee coat.
3. What's your favorite costuming movie? There's too many, and they're too different...Bladerunner, Much Ado About Nothing, Legend, oh I could go on for days.
4. What's your favorite costuming movie dirty secret? (you know, the one that's not horribly accurate, or you're kinda embarrased that you saw it, but you love it anyway) I don't think I have one. I've never been one for historical accuracy. =)
5. If a huge alien ray destroyed all movies in the world, and they were remaking them all, which movie would you call dibs on to costume? Bladerunner, and this time we'd win that fucking Oscar and I'd dedicate it to Michael Kaplan--who wasn't even nominated, I don't believe. (FYI, the film Ghandi won costume design that year--WTF?)
6. Would you make the costumes the same or different? Exactly the same.
7. Have you heard of the ICG? Yes.
8. If yes, are you a member? No.
9. If yes, why, if no, why not? I haven't seen that joining would benefit me, really. I don't do that much costuming right now.
10. How do you find other costumers or costume information sites? Love 'em!
11. Where do you wear your costumes, or where are your costumes worn? Dance gigs, RenFest.
12. Is costuming your livelihood? Oh hell no.
13. How much formal training have you had in sewing/costuming? Zip.
14. How long have you been costuming? I made my first bellydance costume in...1992?
And finally, the Spirituality Meme.
EDIT: Does anyone else find the title of this book rather amusing? Yes, I'm still doing course descriptions...that's one of the required books for ENGL 552.

You fit in with: Spiritualism Your ideals are mostly spiritual, but in an individualistic way. While spirituality is very important in your life, organized religion itself may not be for you. It is best for you to seek these things on your own terms. 60% spiritual. 60% reason-oriented. |

Hope you had a good drive last night. We were both head-achy and Natalie felt really bad. She said she was going to email you... hope she did.
Mwah!

Glamorous: Yes. I think anyone who knows you would nod to all of that.
Wow, I got exactly the same: 60% spiritual. 60% reason-oriented.
And yeah, that title. Hee hee. That'd be kind of like a book being called, "Advanced Writing for Beginners."
