Putting faces to names.
This is so cool. MoveOn.org has started a photo campaign/petition thing for the final push against the Reverse Robin Hood budget. From their email:
We're aiming to collect thousands of photos of ordinary Americans with homemade signs, asking Congress to oppose the Republican plan to cut services for poor while handing tax breaks to the rich. To make sure you're heard, we'll deliver every photo to every member of Congress before the final vote and run some as online ads in the newspapers Congress reads.
Here are the photos. I've written my letters and I've called my reps. And just now, I submitted my face.
Paging through these hundreds and hundreds of photos gives me hope. It may seem like we're a tiny voice here in this part of the country, but I keep paging through all these faces and I'm reminded: I'm not alone. We can beat these bastards.

EDIT: Cool. I'm on the website.

I'll have to make sure to send a photo tonight.

Interesting sensation, that is.
I'm going to slap words on this one.
