Sorry I haven't been more comment-y lately. I have very little that's intelligent to say about bellydancing or Ren Faire goodness. I've mostly been enjoying your missives. :^)

Thank you for that link. I got tears in my eyes. I showed it to the Sparrowhawk, who was sitting next to me. He said, "It makes me ashamed of having worshipped at the feet of so many abstractions for so long." I said, "Yeah, but you never would have killed anyone for them!" He said, "Nevertheless, it was wrong. Abstractions mean nothing compared to people. It's people that matter." I'm happy to know that I apparently belonged to this fine conspiracy without knowing it. It's good not to feel so alone.
