Something to lighten up the afternoon

I dunno how many of you read the comic Boondocks, but a while back he wrote a series about Riley renaming the streets in their subdivision because they were too wimpy: Running Deer Lane, etc.

I just typed a letter to someone who lives on Wolfpit Lane.

Wolfpit Lane.

Damn, I dunno if I'm lonely, bored, tired, or what, but that just cracked me up. Larryville's got the streets named by state in the order they joined the union. Big whoop. This cat on the East Coast lives on freaking Wolfpit Lane.

That's fabulous.

BTW, thefox_rb, this is the icon I was telling you about, where I look like the Alien Queen, about ready to shoot her teeth out her head. Love it!

It's funny...as I was reading, I said to myself, "This MUST be the icon she was telling me about...I'll have to comment about it...", and when I got to the end of your post and read what you said, I laughed. :) Yeah, this icon is the shiz, and you should use it more often. I know! I love that icon. thefox_rb and I had a conversation where she said she hated photos of herself when she's laughing to hard 'cos she's all teeth and gums. I told her I felt the same way for a long time, but if there's something about your physical appearance that you just can't change, you either waste energy hating it, or learn to embrace it. I have finally learned to love my "nose and gums" grin. Hence, my toothy grin icon. =D
