shrijani told me about the Gay Band List on Love God's Way whose URL, IMO, looks like Love God Sway. The addition of "really gay" after Elton John's name cracked me the hell up. So did the inclusion of Cole Porter. And the "Oscar Wilde, reformed homosexual" quote. Really.

The thing that you don't get to hear on this site is the HD Video Link, which did have a video of him singing a "God Hates Gays" song. They played it on the radio station yesterday, and in the middle of the drive home, callers said that the video wasn't up anymore. It would be really cool if the "Removed due to Abuse" was because of Kansas City.

They also do not have morning DJs anymore, and they do My List Mornings where listeners can submit their top 10 songs, and they will play those. It has been awhile since I've been able to hear The Dead Milkmen and Husker Du on the radio, especially on a corporate owned station.

There is a TV show called Ace of Cakes that profiles a bakery specializing in theme cakes. They do really cool stuff, and the staff is very entertaining.

Last night, they did a coo cake for a Scottish-themed wedding. It was awesome. :)

I heard the stuff 96.5 was playing about this group. Honestly, I don't want to click on the link, as I'm sure that it gives the morons promoting this crap the satisfaction of saying "look at how many people have visited our site!" Thus perpetuating that whole idea of "there is no such thing as bad publicity." I can appreciate knowing that it is out there, but I'm not going to give these asshats one click of mine to even view their shit. I can easily ignore them without it.

I have no doubt that the severity of their asshattery is amusing. To me, the problem is that I don't even want to give them the illusion of support for their cause. That's what keeps groups like Fred Phelps and his fucktards going. Every news story that results from their protesting a funeral means they're still getting publicity of some sort. To them, somebody is getting their message, whether they want it or not. Otherwise, their respective groups would fold in obscurity long ago. I can appreciate being told about the comedic asshattery though. Only for the entire reason of "avoid these assholes."

That's my 2¢.
