Swing!
It's amazing how quickly moods can shift. I wouldn't call myself moody--in fact I'm probably one of the more mood-stable people I know. But I'm always amazed by what can set me off, and how easily I re-center.
Last night when I (finally) got home, I managed to finish up that blouse (cute! only one little mistake!) and was feeling pretty spunky. I headed out to meet![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mckitterick, cba1282zyx and a couple others downtown. As I was parking the car, it started to rain again, pretty heavily. Yuck. So I got to the bar, damp and irritable. My mood improved somewhat, and this morning I was feeling cheerful again.
Only to let myself get annoyed by finding that someone who has never even met me either 1) saw what she wanted to see of me and misrepresented my actions, or 2) intentionally lied about my actions to stir up trouble. People, please. Grow up, already.
Then I decided being upset about that was just plain dumb, so now I'm feeling good about myself (again!) for having been insightful and helpful in a comment on someone's LJ (locked post). Go, me!
And now the sun's peeking out, and it's Friday, and it's a payday. I doubt more flowers and chocolate are on the way, but who knows what's in store for the rest of the day? UPDATE: Well! My tax return just got deposited! I guess it's a good day!
