1-2-3

1. Paid users may now edit comments that have not yet been responded to. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] adammaker for the heads-up on that.

2. Yesterday's weirdo dance workout was apparently more effective than I thought. This morning I was unsure about my ability to get out of bed. Very, very stiff. And sore in areas that have never been sore from a traditional cardio/weight training workout. As a result, I didn't do any real exercise this morning. I just took an hour to stretch out every muscle group I could identify. Hurray for yoga, and learning how to use props effectively.

3. I'm taking tomorrow off work. Here's to a three-day weekend of relaxation, some sewing room putterings, and enjoying time alone with [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick, finally.

And now, to work. Buncha stuff on my plate today. Oh, and still looking for a bicycle pump. Anyone? Anyone?

EDIT:

4. I have free tickets to The Kite Runner for an advance screening on November 15 at 7:30. I have a whole stack of 'em. If you want one (each ticket admits two), please come by my office to pick it up.

Bicycle pump?

J might have one in the garage.
How can I get it to you?

as far as the stiffness, sounds like that workout may need a bit more stretching in the cool-down part. The good news is that the stiffness/soreness you feel today tells you what needs stretching, lol.

I have a bicycle pump. I could drop it off at your back door when I run errands if you'd like.

Oh, I'm assuming you just need to pump up your tired and weren't wanting one permanently . . .

The stiffness/soreness also tells me it wasn't a wimpy workout! The areas that are really sore are my usual trouble spots (hamstrings, pectorals) and some areas that are just weird to have sore (outside lower back, over my kidneys).

Give me a call if you locate the pump and I'll come over to get it this weekend. Thank you!

Never mind! [livejournal.com profile] bestill has one.

Lookit me! Editing comments! This is great.

That would be fantastic! Thank you so much! Yes, I just need it to borrow for my ball at work. I only have to do it maybe twice a year, so it seems silly to purchase a new one.

[identity profile] bestill.livejournal.com 2007-11-08 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, if you ever do decide to buy one, they are cheap! I think mine was under $10. I'll drop it by when I'm out running around. I'll put it by the back door.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2007-11-08 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks! Or I can just borrow yours every six months or so. =)

[identity profile] bestill.livejournal.com 2007-11-08 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, there is that! If you ever need to borrow it when you can't get in touch with me, I keep it on my front porch. You are welcome to borrow it whenever you need it.

Cool. I'm all about the communal tool thing. Frankly, I'm disappointed that more people (whom I know and welcome in my house) don't ask to come over to use my grommet setter...

Sounds lovely!

And how!

Cos they are lazy wenches and haven't gotten their next projects figured out yet? (MOI!)

Tix would be great, can I cadge about 4 of them? How big is a stack?

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2007-11-10 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I've got a stack of maybe 50? When would you like to pick them up?
