Sunday morning, bright and shiny
What a gorgeous morning! I can't say I'm thrilled with the snow, but it does make for a brilliant vista out the front window.
The weather nixed my plans to go to yoga yesterday, so instead I drove to the store for a bottle of tomato juice and vodka. Mmmm, late-morning bloody marys. I was well on to tipsy by 2:00 p.m., and that, my friends, is a good time.
Does anyone have a copy of my scone recipe? I lost my laptop with all my recipes, and now I seem to have lost my index card with the recipe written on it, as well. I made scones this morning and they came out a tad dry and the texture just a bit off. I'm thinking I added either too much baking powder or maybe I'm supposed to use two eggs instead of one. If I've given you my scone recipe, could you please either post it in a comment to this, or email it to me? I'd be very appreciative.
And now on to card sorting, and maybe another cup of coffee...too bad I didn't think to buy Bailey's yesterday, too.
