I've watched it in the past, and it is only interesting for around 5 minutes. It isn't as fun just watching puppies as it is playing with puppies.

Shit! I vote for sponsoring a Puppy Bowl viewing with a Picture in Picture show of the S=bowl so we can watch the commercials too. I have the technology.
But .. this year the Half Time was a Big Fukkin Yawn. Tom Petty? with a few bottle rockets and a bit of a light show. Bleh. Bring back wardrobe malfunctions, please!
