One box gone

I took my old (some of them very old) Disney VHS tapes to Half Price Books last night. I might've gotten a teeny bit more for them on eBay, but it wasn't worth the time to do so. Fifteen minutes in Half Price Books and I left with five new CDs and $28 in my wallet. Good enough.
Armed with new music and a train case of paints (which didn't get used at all), I descended uponbestill's art house where we Made Art for a few hours. I started my very own visual journal and got about halfway done with my first two-page spread. It's very pretty, although I think I might paint over/cover up one part. That's a nice thing about collage. Mistakes don't require a long time ripping out stitches or seams.
I very much want these particular alphabet stamps in at least two different sizes (the "special" size and size 3), but I'm trying very hard to get the last few thousand of my credit card paid down as soon as possible so I can move on from that already. Ugh. Never again.
Anyway.
Now to get rid of some more of these shoes. Hopefullyroya_spirit will be able to take some away this evening. I have an opportunity to shed some old fabric stash next weekend, but I need to find a carpool candidate to make it worth the trip to KC. No point in selling off fabric if the profits get eaten by gas money.
