I should do that more often

Taking three days off work (so I got five days off in a row) was wonderful. I got so much done, although a lot of that included eating an entire pan of lemon squares (not completely all by myself at least) and little to no exercise.

But!

The sewing room looks freaking awesome (hello, Organization!) and I can start using the space now. Happiness.

I'm going to make an effort to take two or three days off work on a more regular basis. It really really helped my attitude here at the office.

Now, however, I'm up to my ears in work-related backlog stuff. A surprising amount of issues piled up considering I was only gone for three days, and that during Spring Break.

So, so true. I didn't really want to come in to work this morning, but I feel so much better about being here. Hooray for stay-at-home vacations!

I dropped a book in the mail to you last week. Did that reach you?

Yes! I got it today! Thank you. I'll let you know how I enjoy it.

Mmmmmm, lemon squares....

Glad to hear you had a wonderful time-off!

I love me some lemon squares. Next time I'll save you some. Maybe.

I'm glad you had a good one, too! Sorry our plans never coincided, though. Boo. Better luck next time.
