All over the place
Too bad I don't enjoy coloring in coloring books. This is one of the most beautiful coloring books I have ever seen. Wow. WOW. For $1.99 I might buy it anyway and use the line art as backgrounds for my journal. (Edit: Dang, I started to place an order, but the site isn't secure. Booo!)
I don't make my tea by the cup anymore at work. I have my nana's Brown Betty here at the office, so I make my tea by the pot--it's more economical since I can get two or even three cups out of a Yorkshire Gold teabag with a teapot. Also, the style factor can't be denied. Thanks to
radcliffe's charming tea cozy, it stays warm for over an hour! This morning, though, it was very hot and I was very tired when I poured--the handle burned my hand a little bit. I didn't notice how hot it was until I was already halfway done filling my mug and I couldn't put the pot down quickly without spilling everywhere. Ouch!
Tomorrow I shall finish
nottygypsy's bloomers. I should have finished them on Sunday, but: L-A-Z-Y.
I just answered a mind-boggling question: "Are your PhD students fully funded?" What?!?! All of them? Fully funded? Apart from GTAships? Um. No. Does any university fully fund all their doctoral students? I'm just sort of baffled. Wow. I know there are fellowships out there for the top-notch students, but...all of them? Huh.
The dress I made most recently (a lovely orange cotton with asian-style motifs and a funky kimono-esque neckline) is now too big. I've only lost five pounds or so, but apparently it was all above the waist (of course) and the stupid thing was falling off my shoulders all day yesterday. Even while wearing it as a jumper, over a turtleneck shirt! So that one's going to Wild Man Vintage if they still have their Local Clothing Designer rack. Grrrr.
God, I hope my bodices fit for this weekend. Hm.
