I need to let people know that Best of Bootie 2008 is available for download now. Just click the image to go to the BootieUSA site.

Eliminating grains and sugar from my diet does amazing and good things for my body. Why do I need to be reminded of this every so often? Why do I always return to eating carbs on a regular basis? The occasional rice accompaniment to an appropriate dish (sushi, for example) is fine, but it can't be a daily thing. I'd fallen back into the habit of eating grains at nearly every meal. Bad. Still no wheat, but oatmeal, corn, rice, beer. I resumed my restricted carb diet on Sunday and I've lost 3.8 pounds. People. It would be clear to anyone who didn't have her head up her ass that my body doesn't like starch. Yet I continue to forget/ignore this fact. If you see me pointlessly snacking on corn chips, feel free to make a comment, okay? Because obviously there is something wrong with my brain.
Speaking of my brain, I'm experiencing some revelations about my self, my thought processes, and my emotional needs. It's all quite fascinating. It's nothing I'm willing to share (yet), but I hope understanding and acting on this new information will help with making 2009 a whole fuck of a lot better than 2008. Because dudes. *shudder*
