Today I'm going to KC to chat with
maibe about a commissioned wardrobe for KCRF Middle Eastern weekend. It includes a ghawazee coat, so I'm happy. The only piece I'm concerned about (ironically) is the belt. You'd think of a coat-bra-belt set, the belt would be the easiest to fit, but it's by far the most difficult. Back hip curves are so particular and unique to each body. Hell, I have problems fitting my own belts! It's why I've gone to the two-tie system on a few recent costumes (where both sides of the belt tie together with, well, two ties, so it's very adjustable). I will probably suggest that design to
maibe.
Then, off to JoAnn Fabrics to pick up a long-overdue-to-be-used gift certificate.
The weather looks beautiful, if cold.
It's going to be a good day.

I'm beginning to explore designs with a mid-back tie...at least thinking of it as an alternative, since I have a curve in my lower back, and the extra dip needed to fit it properly makes a nifty design difficult.
