Today's the first of my official Spring Break Days Off Work. \m/ >_< \m/
Saturday was great, spent in the lovely company of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
anerys, nottygyspy and roya_spirit for most of Saturday. anerys introduced us to one of the best antique stores evar, and everyone was really patient with me while we searched around for a place I could eat (Injeera uses teff and wheat flour? So disappointing.).
Sunday, my body decided to remind me of my status as female in no uncertain terms and I spent most of the day on the couch with a book and a heating pad. Bleh. I got some cooking done (for me and for others) so it wasn't a complete loss, but still. Not the best way to start a vacation, even if it is a vacation at home.
Today I hope to do the laundry that should have been done yesterday, make curtains for the living room, and perhaps go to KC for a large-ish purchase that I probably shouldn't be buying but I simply can't not buy one of these things.anerys, I'm looking right at you because this is all your fault. Yours and that evilly seductive chair of yours.
Projects for this week include: Organizing more ofmckitterick's Magic cards, alphabetizing the bookshelves, finding a way to arrange things in the house so they are more accessible and easy to find, arranging for a thorough housecleaning (by a professional), and, yes, making time to chill out.
I'm also going to get my hair trimmed and shaped. I'm still letting it grow out, but the back is driving me crazy because I feel like I have a mullet. I'm going to talk to the stylist about a fluffy bob cut. Until my hair gets past my shoulders, it's going to be a fluffy anything, so I might as well play to my strengths here.
Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas about where to find similar reproductions of the Shoes Of Great Beauty. I might look into that eventually.
It's 8:45 and I am still in my bathrobe. Awesome.
