I have to say that I think he & Mr. Rogers were right about the state of modern kids' programming (Reading Rainbow et al excluded). I mean, when I was a LITTLE kid, I sure didn't want to watch violent shows.
That's the first I've heard (work was busy today) but I am very sorry to hear that. I really didn't watch much television growing up but I did watch his show.
