Happy new year, everyone!

What's the first thing I did this morning (after starting the coffee)? Emptied the dishwasher! Good times, good times. But after breakfast (more bread pudding! coffee with Frangelico!) I'm going to clear the sewing table and work on a journal entry.

It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, if a little chilly.

And for those of you who don't have one yet, I offer you my favorite New Year's Black Eyed Peas Recipe. I'll be making this for lunch...or whenever mckitterick is up and about. It might be a late lunch.

Grr. That's frustrating. Sorry I don't have an extra hambone to give you. I think, though, now that you mention it, I might throw some bacon in mine, even with the ham! Mmmm.

Missed you last night. Henry's was actually rather low-key and not crowded since they didn't bother with the private party and Dave was trying to get everyone to go to The Chat.
