Thanks (I guess?) to roya_spirit who gave me the news this morning that Alexander McQueen was found dead on Thursday. So sad. There's not a lot of designers who create stuff I would wear. Like, for real, not just on some crazy dream-movie set. McQueen was one of them. I mean, even his luggage line was incredible.

Gaultier is still my #1, though.

I love that the platform ones I posted have brass knuckles for lacing the shoestrings. The only thing that would make them better is if they were a different colorway.

Sure! Instead of the Great Coat of Beauty? It would certainly be easier than grading up and masculinizing the vest pattern I have as the base for that. I'm sure can find a frock coat pattern that's your size. Send me some links with patterns you like.

Edit: Also, you would look fucking hot in a frock coat. Just sayin'.
