May I have this dance?

The past couple weeks I've really wanted to do some partner dancing. I sit at my desk and think about it. I walk home and think about it. I read a book on the couch and think about it.

Obviously, it's time to step it up (ar ar ar) and learn how to lead, because nobody's offering to lead for me. So now it's a matter of finding a class (and someone to take it with me who wants to be my Learning Follow)? Or do I track down someone who'd be willing to give me a couple private lessons (and someone willing to follow)? I know the basics of leading a rock step swing, but I'd like to learn to lead cha-cha and two-step, too.

I was thinking he must be uninterested, and that when PDA and Matt have learned your partner pool must widen, for Dani and I will want to take them out and show them off!

I learned those so far back that it seems hard to believe that they are worth a class. We used to do that stuff after school and -- a whole lot back in the 1960's.
