I found my keys, which some few of you might know that I lost last weekend. It took a whole week to find the blasted things. They were in the pocket of a pair of overalls hanging on the drying rack. I guess that will teach me not to leave me laundry drying an entire week before putting it away. Chastened and relieved, I can cancel the request for extra office keys and I now have even more spares stashed around for when I lock myself out of my car.

We had a very good time out on Friday to see the Mezcal Brothers. It's too bad their CD is rather lackluster IMO. They put on a fantastic live show. Friday was the birthday for one of the KC rockabilly boys and included a lap dance from Lurlene the Trailer Court Queen. Oh, and cake. Much fun!

Saturday was perfectly lazy. I think we might have run a few errands? Honestly, I don't remember. Lunch out with mckitterick, home for a nap, and the evening was spent on the couch with bourbon (0verdrive) and wine (me), programming thanks to our new wireless network (0verdrive) and knitting (me).

Sunday was not so lazy, but still fun. Did a basic swing dance lesson for 0verdrive's sister and fiance so they can couple-dance at their wedding. Then over to help mckitterick with shelves. Dinner and bed.

Now it's Monday and I'm ready for another weekend already. But every passing weekend brings me closer to the Vegas rockabilly weekender and I still have nothing to wear and that makes me a little nervous.

Worse, I'd probably end up making a pass at Enya, only to Ruin Everything and cause my life to turn into an 80's teen movie where I have to learn lessons and stuff.

We have the same feelings about GB 2005 - we had a great time at the last one, but next year is so close after VLV and during the middle of the week (as opposed to a weekend). =/

Ooh, I just had the strangest thought, you mentioned you lost your keys and I remembered I was at a party this past Saturday night and I was juggling keys and then I remembered the last time I was at a party juggling keys was at your place on Tennessee and I lost my keys that night because Brian (Moore?) was juggling also and ended up putting them in his pocket. Weird. Happy Wednesday!

Yeah well you weren't in any shape to be using your keys that night anyway, so that's probably just as well.

Hey, since the Rhythm Busters show got cancelled, you should come out to the Sellout show at Jazzhaus this weekend. We're going to the Friday night show.

I checked out Sellout and they look pretty cool, I'll be there.
