Yes! This is the biggest reason I want to upgrade mine. Well, that and the fact that mine does not have an adjustable thermostat either. It's old school! (and don't get me wrong, I have loved the thing and used it to death and I better put this in before it hears me saying all this and I get home and it has broken!)
