I'm not saying I applaud the mentality of invade-and-conquer, but I gotta love the slap in the face to all those assholes who assumed that just because someone was buried with a sword, that someone was a man.

Although it does say many arrived as settlers, not invaders, and I'd say owning a sword also does not mean marauder, I'll bet it was a handy tool at times. :)
