MERRY XMAS Y'ALL.

I've never even been to the UK and this made me laugh. A Guide to UK Cities for Foreign People.
Poured my first mimosa at 9:15 this morning. LIFE IS GOOD.
In yesterday's post, I embedded a vid that I didn't intend to (a very meta vid by the same vidder about xmas multifandom something or other). The one I meant to post was this:
We opened our presents yesterday, and ... well, let's just say some of them made us laugh until we cried.
I made roasted Brussels sprouts for lunch, but couldn't be bothered to make a protein to go with, so we're eating beef jerky. Also, I am out of mimosa.
I LOVE BEING AN ADULT.

OUT of MIMOSA? Oh shit, I'm sorry.
Also, I'm half-British, and found them somewhat funny, but mostly perplexing.. also, first comment, how about Blackpool? Actually funny to me. (Blackpool is sort of the Coney Island of GB for those of limited means).
I need to figure out how to make that tree. I want one in my yard, like NOW.

It appears to be made of a spiral of metal, maybe rebar, with welded-on pegs that the bottles are stuck on (I'm assuming they're empty; wow-that's a LOT OF ALCOHOL-that was one hell of a party, or someone's been saving up for a long damn time!). It would be interesting to make one....

We got a set of stemless wine goblets from my niece!
Now I just have to find room in my cabinets for them....

Have you seen the beer bottle chandeliers? There's one in the local On The Border, it's splendid!

It's a large construction...closest I can find to it is this one (http://instagram.com/p/MwX3hbO2aZ/) but it's much better color-coordinated.
