You want thingamabobs?

My first reaction, upon seeing that the movie Carrie was being remade was "Eh. Why bother?" Then I found out that Chloƫ Grace Moretz had the title role. And then today I read an article that informed me a woman is directing it. Okay, yeah. SIGN ME THE FUCK UP.

That's all I got time for. I had a meeting this morning that ran for an hour and a half. Just a wee bit behind on my morning to-do list, now. I leave you with this:

Oooh. While 'remake' for me generally means 'avoid like hell', that sounds intriguing...

I don't avoid something just because it's a remake, but when the original is brilliant, I sometimes balk at the motivations for it. In this instance, though, I'm convinced so far.
