I keep reading this as "international movement." That makes it sound even more awesome. Join the international movement to move! Anyway, it inspires me to be reminded you're doing it.

Yay, inspiration!

Awesome!

I was supposed to do six days last week but did five; I'll add that extra day to this week. I already know today and tomorrow will be about shoveling. (will this snow ever end??)

Monday: Yoga stretches
Tuesday: Yoga stretches
Wednesday: Shoveling (this took over an hour)
Thursday: Off
Friday: Shoveling
Saturday: Shoveling
Sunday: Off

Man, shoveling is hard work. Take care of your back! Do you do yoga? You might want to try some things that are good for releasing the low back. My favorite is Janu Sirsasana (http://www.yogajournal.com/pose/head-to-knee-forward-bend/). I do that one in my office, at least three times a week (yay for office doors that close). Don't worry about getting down nearly as far as the woman in the photo, there. I don't, either!

I am just now dipping my toes into yoga. Brian subscribed to a yoga channel (via Roku, I think?) and we'll start doing that together. He's gone to classes, but I haven't.

That stretch looks really good. Probably about 90% of my back problems are in my lower back (which is so sensitive, it hurts even with a gentle touch), so whatever I can do to help it I will.

More movement is on my list of things to make stuff better. I'm doing better about alternating standing and sitting at work, and reminding myself that as much as more movement is important, little bits of movement throughout the day are equally important, and they add up.

Also, this article might be pretty basic, but it addresses sitting smarter (http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/25/health/feat-yoga-sit-smarter/index.html), so I've been trying to apply some of that too.

Oh, lots of good pointers in that article that I'd never considered. Thank you!
