Last year we cared for a baby squirrel for a few days until we could get her to a rescue. Justin showed her to Momcat, who then ran over to her food dish. We named the squirrel Snacktime.

The wildlife rehabber said for most of them a switch flips at some point and they are WILD and will only tolerate a person or two. Snacktime had just opened her eyes when we handed her over, so we got all the cute that week.
