History 3: Trapped DVD

Found out via Tumblr that History 3: Trapped is being released on disc! Can anyone please help me navigate the Chinese-language website to order? Or maybe first, just tell me if there's anywhere on the order page that says if the DVDs are Region 2 (US) compatible? Also, I'd like the Blu-Ray instead of DVD and maybe it's just the DVDs that are available for pre-order at the moment (which looks like might be the case)? Help!

Can't help but bookmarking to see any future updates on this. My multi-region player might end up with a workout depending on the answers the internet provides. 😊

Region-free DVD players are a Thing and they are pretty cheap---mine was $30 I think? OR you can go online and ask the internet how to jailbreak a DVD player to make it region free. You'll have to sit there with your remote and press buttons in a weirdly random order, but it works.

Would the DVDs come with English-language subs so you can follow along?

The reason why I got this particular one (back in 2016): it is Smart, so it has links on the launch screen for Amazon, Netflix, etc.; it has a USB port, so you can play MP4 and MKV files (though YMMV whether or not the audio track is correct); and it's wireless, but of course also has a LAN port on the back. You will need HDMI.

I swear to god it did not cost $160, like the link says! Otherwise I wouldn't own two. Gah! Jailbreak yours if you have one.

Chrome browser will automatically translate. :) . That's how I'm able to do my own online shopping.

Anyway, it says region 3.

And yikes. Expensive.

Pricing said 699yuan. ....and I just looked up. Yuan is also used here, but it's a different currency (like Canadian or Australian dollars are different from US dollars). And yeah. That translates to $22 and some change (according to xe.com). My bad.

But you are definitely going to have to do some sort of workaround on the region. I'd also be curious about the shipping costs. International mail isn't cheap anywhere.
