I am...okay? I've had surprisingly good sleep the past few nights. I'm trying to pay it no mind because this too shall probably pass but wow it does feel good to wake up and be like "Oh! It's nearly 5am instead of 1 or 2. Even if I can't fall back asleep, seven hours of sleep was amazing!" Energy levels are still good, although yesterday I was unusually physically fatigued. Had problems just going up a flight of stairs. I was thinking I'd try the rowing machine at the gym today, graduate from the recumbent bike, but maybe not today. Aaaaaaand I just remembered my mom's birthday is next week. Getting up to go put a card in the mail to her right now before I forget. Her first birthday after Nana's death is probably not one to miss.

Apparently I have made 961 original posts on Tumblr which is a lot more than I would have thought. My Border Leicester sheep post is by far the most noted and I don't expect anything to beat it. 100+k notes--I wish I'd been funnier with it.

Y'all I have had The Worst time with this damn sex scene that yes, I have been trying to write since Sunday, thanks very much. I thought I'd figured out how to do it, but I was wrong and then I thought of a way to deal with it yesterday but haven't had a chance to try writing yet and might not get a good chance until tomorrow--we'll see how the rest of today shakes out.

And I was serious about my offer of art cards! I promise they're really pretty in person! I The card doesn't have to be Guardian-related, either--let me know what fandom you'd prefer! I need some motivation to create and working in my sketchbook doesn't offer the same emotional reward. I need to get my art groove back on and the only way to do that is actually Do It A Lot so please help me out by wanting a card! I'm willing to make up to five cards, so if I don't get any nibbles here, I'll post to sid_guardian.

ETA: Art card offer is closed, but if anyone wants the tea canister with the angsty Zhubai theme, lemme know. I'll spring for domestic postage, but would appreciate halfsies reimbursement for sending internationally.

(And yeah, here I'm international shipping, but depending on how your Art Process goes, I'll also be in the US over Christmas, so that might be an option too!)

I missed the original card post, too - I think if you keep a post as a draft for awhile and then post it, it keeps the original post date, which means that it gets lost in people's feeds (since people don't tend to go back and look through posts they've already read). There's a button to update the date on a post before posting that can help alleviate this, I think.

Oh, I would love something with Shen Wei, especially as Professor Wei (Zhao Yunlan would be lovely, too, of course! Anything shippy!) Having now dug up the original post, I, er, if you have spares going around, would also be interested in a tea canister? Again, I would be happy to help with shipping if necessary. :) I admit I am thirsty for Guardian merch (that isn't hyper-cutesy. ;)

Oh, dang! That's what I did (updated the original date) but it doesn't seem to have worked. In the future, I'll do what I used to do on LJ which is just cut and paste everything into a new post.
