Two months have never passed so quickly. Yesterday was the last day of RenFest. I had an absolute ass-kicking blast. I will, life allowing, return next year. I want to thank everyone who welcomed me into their funky little tribe with open arms and open hearts.

First, my sister ho's: angel_in_purple, angelbedwell, breaca, breathofgold, cedarsong, corsettegirl, everflame, nottygypsy, otterdancing, sablesam, salacious_saffy, speakup, sprkysgrrl, and most importantly, our beloved madam, rougewench, who invited me along for this fabulous ride. Thanks to all of you for helping me dust off parts of my personality I've not used for a long time.

Then there are the people who welcomed me not just because Red said they had to: dwimmerlaik, fantomas71, gamera_spinning, gmskarka, grnvixen, kalinobeche, mesniu, rowangolightly, thebruce, thedarkbear, and thefox_rb.

Thank you all very, very much. This experience meant more to me than you can know. Last night, when I pulled up to pay my toll at the Lawrence booth, for the first time the money-taker noticed and made reference to my attire. All she said was:
"Today was the last day?"
"Yes," I replied.
"Did you have a good time?"
"I had a wonderful time. Thank you."
And I was back home.
