Today's another Guardian picspam on my Tumblr.

This was my absolute worst fear as a graduate secretary.

Resumed the current Guardian rewatch this week (hoping it would help inspire my return to Deconstruction), and... Okay, so in episode 10, when Shen Wei, Zhao Yunlan, and Zhu Hong are discussing how the students and Da Qing are still sleeping off Wang Zheng's drugs, Chu Shuzhi and Guo Changcheng run up to them, all awake and stuff. Where, exactly, had they been sleeping and why weren't they still? Hit me up with your theories, please.

I don't have a good theory, but this just reminded me of the fic I set in that guest house and then proceeded to almost have a fit when I realised how many people I'd have to move out of the way so Weilan could have sex in peace - because there are so many people in there and everyone's camping out all over the place 😂

Same here, obviously. (Though probably not an RPF version; I never did manage to get over that particular qualm, haha. And anyway, no version of Zhu Yilong would ever make a better pointman than Shen Wei.)

Oh, wow, that back view of him is especially delicious! I'm one of the ones staring unabashedly, because why waste even a second's worth of that view? XD

I never thought to wonder about where everyone might have been sleeping... But since there appears to be an upstairs, there are probably a few small rooms up there; ZH and WZ would have been sharing, then CSZ and GCC, SW and his students, ZYL with DQ? But maybe DQ just curled up on the table downstairs in cat form or something cos it was warmer? (Btw - sorry to hear about your writing slump! But on the bright side: writer's block (and getting over writer's block) is such an integral part of the experience of being an author, right?)

Even though I've fallen to the dark side on the RPF AUs, I agree on the Inception AU needing to be Guardian, bc I want the team dynamic.
