Agreed about the Cannes interview. I think people are getting better at interviewing Zhu Yilong? Compared to a year ago, I'm convinced I'm seeing way more interviews now where they actually ask him things he's wiling to answer, LOL.

I'm so happy the Cannes interview was actually good. Thank heavens for professional hosts who ask actors about their acting and not other silly nonsense. I usually avoid Zhu Yilong's interviews/variety shows because they make me feel annoyed and embarrassed on his behalf, so thank you for linking to this one!

Hmm, I can sort of see it, but the problem is that the green/teal fox's willingness to handle all the chores is Shen Wei's but their personality resembles Zhao Yunlan's. Maybe they just moved into a new house and ZYL is suddenly doing all the chores (imperfectly, carelessly, but still doing them!) and SW is the puzzled and skeptical (but secretly pleased) blue fox?

Zhao Yunlan/Kunlun is actually the only Bai Yu role I've found attractive up to now (not counting some of the photshoots, haha). But it seems like he looks pretty good in Fairyland Lovers too? I'm glad he's found the style that works best for him. (I don't know whether he actually found it while playing ZYL or not, but I'm not gonna pass up on the chance to give Guardian more credit XD)

That's how I pictured it. Zhao Yunlan would be like a puppy--oh I can help! See? Helping! (meanwhile Da Qing is off camera, rolling his eyes at how decades of effort teaching ZYL to be a cat is undone so quickly by LOVE)

OH THANK YOU for actually linking to an interview with ZYL where he gets to talk about his fucking job instead of answering offensively stupid and intrusive questions, and you can see him just blossom. That interviewer is great, very empathetic.

And then, well, the murder!skit at the end is so well done and HOT, yum. Which is kind of amazing for an impromptu thing that also has to feature product shots.
