I have been waiting twenty years for a gif of Shen Wei tucking in his tie. I am going to write that detail into a fic someday. It made me so happy when I saw it on screen the first time (and every time thereafter). I have the same reaction when someone unbuttons their suit jacket when they sit down and re-button it when they stand. The automatic behavior of someone who not only wears clothes Like That, but Knows How To Wear Them? God that's so fucking hot.

Someone please remind me how to download gifs from Twitter because I need this one in my reaction gif folder (even though I don't use reaction gifs as much as I used to).

I haven't had time to watch AvenueX's take on the AO3 block and Xiao Zhan thing, but I'll hope to get to it after I'm back from KC. I love what you wrote about Shen Wei tucking in his tie! It's SO GOOD and I love how ZYL's acting choices make these tiny moments so much more. The way he carefully folds his suit jacket. The sleeve garters. Sigh.

"So nakedly" is a perfect descriptor. It's obvious from the start that Zhao Yunlan strips all his defenses and it's beautiful and heartbreaking to see.
