I don't know that I can pick a fave Bai Yu look, but this one certainly ranks up there.
Zhu Yilong looks so very young here and I'm having a problem with that. Very different look, similar problem. His crinkle-eye laugh, Major Problem.

Y'all, I really feel for the poor NZ who campaigned so hard to win Worldcon, then planned it, and made this announcement today. I realize these things are happening all over, but I know it took, like, a decade for the people who finally won the Kansas City Worldcon to pull that off. What a heartbreak. If I had money to spare I'd buy a membership just to support them.

Thanks to a post by goss I might also write something (a post? an actual essay? we'll see how it goes) about my Cooking Feelings (which are significant).

But today I am working on art cards. Not gonna be able to take them to the post office for mailing anytime soon, but as soon as I can, they'll be ready to go out!

Well I've reached a point in Deconstruction where I realized Oh God I'm Just Gonna Have To Outline This. So, uh, taking a leeetle break from that and this sounds like a very nice distraction.

It's so perfect. SO PERFECT. I mean, Bai Yu is a gorgeous, overwhelmingly handsome man. But sometimes Zhu Yilong barely looks human to me. He's just so incredibly beautiful.

Only Zhao Yunlan’s slim, wiry build kept the hem from being truly obscene in its failed effort to cover the curve between cheek and upper thigh. The flesh there was soft and sweet and Shen Wei loved to bite it. The thin white T-shirt, already nearly transparent, clung soaking to his back and shoulders. His muscles shifted under it as he reached across the hood—he’d started lifting weights recently, much to Da Qing’s amusement. Shen Wei’s eyes traveled back down, past those...shorts…over his long, slim legs. Relieved, he noted Zhao Yunlan had the sense to wear shoes, but those black boots were taking a hit. As was Shen Wei.

I love the ones in the white sweater especially, he looks happy and so cute. The "embarrassed laugh" thread is great, too! I saved several of those, and I had never seen him do that nose-crinkle before at all!
