I love this dynamic, yes, but I also love this photo. I think I have fantastic taste, but I appreciate the sentiment and I love people who embrace their own (possibly questionable) tastes with unrepentant enthusiasm.

Yesterday was Not Good, friends. Two small breakdowns that included near-tears, and one with (small) tears. Lots of time spent numb on the couch. Or floor. Might write about it later but I want to use my limited computer time today to write some fic. My psyche really needed it yesterday but the wrist needed rest.

Arting didn't happen either (because breakdowns) but McKitterick installed a new light fixture in my studio and it gives some pretty impressive illumination. So maybe today...

But first I need to check in with my guys in Deconstruction. Gotta figure out what nice thing is gonna happen to them next...

I have not yet. I watched the other movie in there (Yang and His Summer) which is typically rom-commy and very very silly, but has a lovely Zhu Yilong and a happy ending. I know next to nothing about Looking Up, though!

I went through the comments first to see if anyone had linked it, because, yes, I definitely remember seeing links to it - and maybe posting about it, but I definitely did not upload it because I never do - and it's so sweet of you to think it was me. <3

I also do not have the fortitude (well put) to watch it right now. I probably will at some point, but it is reportedly hard to watch (and not in a "the production is so bad you want to stop" way but in a "the plot is harrowing" way). I don't need that right now.

I'd rather rewatch Yang and his Summer for the... fourth time? Romcom movies are my comfort food.

Man, things are so rough right now. I think it's very easy to underestimate the amount of stress and strain we're all under - it's such a heavy, but quiet and creeping thing. I had trouble today, too, but I'm getting better at giving myself a pass for being human.

Me too!! Although at this stage in my life, I must say that I am completely done bowing to other people's ideas of what terrible taste is - I like it because it's *amazing*, and if you (the generic you *g*) think that's invalid, then that's your problem and you are wrong, with no fucks given on my part. (I don't think other people have terrible taste because their taste differs from mine, either. Taste is subjective by nature, and it's ridiculous how so many people want to lay down rules for it. Fundamental misunderstanding there...)
