I hear it's rude to post stuff about Chinese celebrities today? I don't know if I fully understand? But just in case, I'm saving all my Twitter finds for tomorrow.
The reports of AO3's increased usage must be true. I opened my email this morning to see comments on four different stories, from four different people! 😍
I am really and truly working on art cards today. Won't be taking them to the post office anytime soon, but when I can, they'll be ready! When I finish these last three promised ones, I'll put open another call for other takers. I love making these and I want more stamina so I can do them on a more regular basis. *sigh*
Speaking of cards, my dad's birthday is today and I forgot to send something. /o\ Texted him this morning, asked if he wanted to talk later (we are neither of us good phone talkers, ugh). I even thought to get that in the mail on Monday but I think everyone's brain has holes these days. I always forget my parents birthdays (also their anniversary) so it's not like he'll be surprised.
I don't much care about marker dates myself and that (selfishly) bleeds over into my behavior toward others. I tried to be better at it once upon a time, but, uh... lost interest? Oh well. I have many other good qualities! 😅 There are people out there who love sending Special Day Cards (my mother is one of them) so I let them make up for slackers like me. At least I remembered to send a card for my parents 50th anniversary last year, although I did not attend the party. I am an Absent Daughter. *emoji shrug*
For anyone looking for some new stuff to listen to, TrapFlow released a new playlist yesterday and I'm digging it so far.
eta: holy crap, responding to a couple comments on Ghost Story and it's gotten 150 hits since I posted the last chapter. o_O

I'm a bit like that, though I try to be better at it. I'm the person who, when she still lived at home with parents and two sisters, on emerging from the bedroom one morning to everyone singing Happy Birthday, quickly joined in because she thought she'd forgotten someone. >_>

LOLOLOLLLLLLLLLLLL that's hilarious and if I had more people in my family I can absolutely see me doing that. The only reason I remember my own birthday is it's such a mnemonic--last day of the first month--and also I hate having a winter birthday. If my birthday was, like, May 10 or something I'd probably forget about it.
