Toodling along in Corset Story (title is 90% decided) and thought it could be Real Sexy to show them lacing the corset on screen and then realized, wait, how the hell do those Innova corset vests work? They're, like, shoe laced from neck to waist. Which... is not how one laces a corset? Friends, it took me (not kidding) about ten minutes to wrap my brain around how one would actually don one of those corsets. I put enough thought into it I'm using my solution for foreplay. Please refrain from guessing alternative methods in the comments because if you come up with an easier more obvious answer I might actually cry. 😂😅😭

I really like the...oh dear I have no English...the assonance of this? solidity/steel/Shen Wei/shocking in the first sentence, firm/architectural/felt/armor in the second one, physical/harm/powers/provide in the third. Lovely sound combinations (not to mention very promising content, I hope Shen Wei will enjoy himself).

You know, the sexy fanart is absolutely great for obvious reasons, but it's odd how for some reason *this* is the style of fanart that I am loving most for this particular fandom. I'm not sure how to describe the aesthetic (minimalist? stylistic? landscapey?), but I'm delighted that the show's inspiring so much of it.

I'm always drawn to unusual art styles, too! I love looking at the realistic stuff, but if/when I ever get back into drawing again I'll definitely work toward pursuing more stylized stuff (with the understanding that you gotta know the rules before you can break them, etc. etc.) I still have those resources you found for me bookmarked!

Also, I absolutely laced myself into one of my old (and so much too small *laugh-sob*) corsets to remind myself of the sensations of both wearing the garment and how it feels to be touched while wearing one. It felt SO NICE.
