Gmail users, is anyone else getting the red bar with a "Gmail is having authentication problems" message? The part about "Try logging in to fix the problem" is particularly discomforting. I mean, I'm right here, reading my email? I am logged in?

Fairy! Wings! This meme is seriously making me want to revisit Elsewhere for sequel possibilities (even though I really do want to turn that one into a longfic someday).

NAYE I MISS THE BEARD SO MUCH. And Zhu Yilong's fluffy bangs? *SOB* Between the two of them they've got like, half as much hair going on and I hate it! They're supposed to be catering to ids, Naye. Our ids. DID THEY NOT GET THE MEMO?

The Gmail thing is still happening, so six hours on I don't have high hopes for a quick resolution tbh. Fun fact! It's keeping me from sending attachments of any sort so that's great.

i've seen that message in my gmail on my work computer but on my personal comp it's working just fine, so - hmmmm. i use different vpn services on each; maybe that's why/that's causing the issue?

We're not using a VPN (yet) so probably not... it's still doing it, too, so that's fantastic.

hmmm, the internet thinks it may be related to one's cookie settings, but i can't find a workaround offered. also there's this post on their support site which suggests it's either about updating the browser or just changing one digit in the URL... i hope either helps. good luck bb!

Huh! Well at least I know my browser is up to date (I checked) but I'm gonna see if it shows up if I try a different browser. I'll also run this by McKitterick when he comes back. Thank you for looking into this!

eta: yep, everything works fine in Chrome. It's something going on with Firefox. Which I almost called Mozilla, so you know how long it's been since I worked in IT.
