Life... seems to be happening elsewhere for people? I'm glad. Things in my own head and body are very stagnant except for writing. I think that's fine. It's better than utter despair. I wonder how/when/if I'm ever going to shake the unpleasant sensation of stasis, though. I think it's what's triggering a large part of my general anxiety. The complete inability to plan for a future--coupled with the fear that I might not have much of a future if I'm so unfortunate as to catch the current plague. Except for an eating disorder that's trailed me since I was a pre-teen, I've always been grateful that I didn't have notable mental health issues. I can't say I like this current journey for me. None of us are coming out of this the same people we were.

And now, a rare fic rec from me (I know, i'm terrible at reccing, but I'm usually so late to read things, I feel like most people have seen them already). Hell, I've been stagnating for years. Way before Covid came and derailed all the things. But when it's not by choice anymore...yeah, that's when the lousiness strikes. I would've literally sold my soul last weekend for one hour at the beach. And I am NOT a hardcore beach person. I love the ocean, but -- I turn bright red! And peel! Not pleasant!
