Feeling very uncomfortable in my head right now and sinking myself into my own fic is the only thing that can completely distract me. Reading and watching stuff helps a little, but not as much. As a result, it's highly likely that Deconstruction's first revision will wrap up well before the end of the month. I'm feeling weirdly disconnected from the story, though, and I don't like that. I need/want this story to bring The Feels. I hope the dissatisfaction is just my current mood.

THAT HUFF. 😭 We so rarely see Shen Wei express any resentment, so when he does, even subtly and with bitter humor, it hurtssssssssssss.

Thanks for the hugs. I'm having the "ugh this is terrible why did I write this" feels at an odd time in the creative process. I've heard this is supposed to happen before I'm done writing, not after...

And I THOUGHT I had become aware of all the terrible double layers and meanings in Guardian dialogue, but no - that "How could I let you go?" line, that huff of laughter, oooff. Poor Shen Wei. He has many terrible ppl in his life and most of them are Zhao Yunlan.
