Yeahhhhh the heart(id) wants what it wants. Don't get me wrong, I would nail either (both!) of them, but I worry about and want things for Zhu Yilong in a way I never have about any other actor. OBSESSED is about right.

I wonder if they knew how many shots of sword-clenching (not to mention playing instruments, which I think probably *was* a factor) would figure into the narrative and, if so, that went into the casting requirements.

That whole hotpot livestream is so amazing. (Yes, I'm sure with subs it would have been even better, but his face is reason enough for me to have watched it.) Not only the greeting, but also later - the way he looks at Chen Minghao the whole time. He doesn't bond with people easily, but once he does, whoo boy. (Apparently, I am shipping him with Chen Minghao now, too!)
